The group started to assemble the Desk Friend prototype, attaching the fan, wiring, and the organizational compartments.
Justin was able to acquire LED lights to attach to the final product.
Logan drew up the individual parts for the rest of the group to divide and conquer in 3D printing at the MIX.
Cole destroyed the previous prototype and will now be allocating his time to contributing the completion of the 3D model.
Abby continues to capture media to include in the website.
Since most of class today was dedicated to hearing from Alan Meyers, we had to work outside of class to complete the previously mentioned progress. During the rest of class we spent time deliberating on who will be helping with the lights and when to meet again to finalize putting together every part.
To wrap up the final model of Desk Friend, Cole, Zavan, Kamyar, Abby, and Justin will each 3D print a component of Desk Friend in order to efficiently obtain every piece, since it would take over 100 hours if only one person would print all of Desk Friend. Teamwork makes the dream work!
